“I have always felt called to use my art to uplift people and make the world a better place. a better place. Sometimes to highlight the weaker sections of society, sometimes to entertain people and to convey the historical and cultural information of the country so that they are not forgotten. Art brings people together and is alive.”

“My name is Irena Procházková. I was born in the Czech Republic in 1973 and currently live and work in Prague. I was influenced by the work of the Czech academic painter Bedřiška Uzdilová, with whom I studied painting from 2011-2020. Before that, I graduated from a university of economics, studying with the academic painter Teodor Buz (2002-2002). I am a member of the International Art Community “Black Canvas” founded by the painter Alexander Onišenko.

All my paintings were inspired by travel experiences or everyday life. Artistic styles such as post-impressionism and expressionism have never ceased to fascinate me. I draw, paint, create portraits, scenery, abstractions, compositions and still lifes. I currently use the technique of oil paint on white and black canvas. I am represented in galleries in the Czech Republic, Italy, Spain and Mauritius.
