Ivano Facchetti is a contemporary Italian artist known for his distinctive “superpop” aesthetic, combining sculptural painting, pop culture references, and layered mixed-media techniques. Born in Bergamo in 1974, he initially trained and worked outside the art world before developing a self-taught artistic practice that became central to his career identity.

His work is characterised by three-dimensional surfaces, bold colour contrasts, and the reinterpretation of iconic cultural figures such as superheroes and contemporary symbols. These motifs are transformed into textured, almost relief-like compositions that blur the boundaries between painting and sculpture.

Facchetti’s practice is strongly influenced by themes of transformation, resilience, and the mythology of modern icons. His visual language often reflects on the tension between heroism and contemporary cultural saturation, using pop imagery as a vehicle for deeper emotional and psychological narratives.

Recognised in international exhibitions and art fairs, Facchetti has developed a recognisable signature style that merges craftsmanship with a highly contemporary visual vocabulary, positioning his work within the evolving field of neo-pop and experimental figuration.

We are delighted to present him as one of our exhibitors at ART WORLD MARBELLA 2026.
