Mis Primeras Manchas y Dibujos is a visual language rooted in intuition, emotion, and a love for material exploration. What began as playful murals in Argentina has evolved into a practice that moves fluidly between watercolor, chalk pastel, acrylics, and charcoal—embracing experimentation and narrative tension across mediums.

Over the years, the artist has studied and collaborated with mentors such as Raúl Domínguez (“El Pintor de las Islas”), Mario Gurfein, Goyo Barja, Alejo Musich, Germán Gárgano, and Daniel Santoro. These relationships have shaped a voice that is at once spontaneous and conceptually layered—an ongoing dialogue between form, color, and thought.

Her visual work navigates abstraction and figuration, often centering on imagined animals and symbolic landscapes that resist realism. Figures emerge unexpectedly from stains, blurs, and marks. There is a sense of play and philosophical inquiry throughout—echoes of Foucault, Heidegger, and the chaos of the internal world made visual.

The work of Mis Primeras Manchas y Dibujos begins in a space of intuitive chaos—emotional, gestural, and instinctive. Each piece unfolds from a landscape of inner tension, where stains, colors, and forms emerge without a predetermined path. Rather than seeking order, the artist embraces unpredictability, allowing the image to evolve organically.

 

Central to her visual language are animals—imagined, emotional beings that carry symbolic weight. These creatures are not realistic depictions but poetic presences: elusive, expressive, and often unsettling. They evoke internal worlds, unspoken memories, or impossible pleasures.

Material is a collaborator in her process. Starting with charcoal, she builds compositions through layers of pastel, watercolor, and acrylic—letting each medium speak, challenge, and complement the others. She works almost exclusively with Sennelier pastels, following the legacy of Degas in the pursuit of pure, expressive color.

Her practice is less about answers than about dialogue—a visual conversation between presence and absence, meaning and instinct. Each work resists the binary of right or wrong, instead arriving at resolution when the image itself declares its own completion.
