“The exhibition invites us to look slowly and to recognise, in the beauty and fragility of the world, a place of encounter between humanity and its environment”
– BĀLTA GALLERY
Founded in 2024 in Santander, Spain, Bālta Gallery is dedicated to championing contemporary painting through a curatorial programme that brings together national and international artists with distinctive artistic voices. Rather than adhering to a particular aesthetic or discipline, the gallery seeks works that possess conceptual depth, poetic resonance, and emotional authenticity, creating exhibitions that invite contemplation, dialogue, and personal discovery.
For this exhibition, Depth, Bālta Gallery presents the work of Alejandro Quincoces, Guillermo Simón, Massimo Barlettani, and Caspar Jansen in a visual conversation about contemplation, memory, and transformation. Their paintings explore different ways of perceiving reality—from the vital force of nature and the vastness of the sea to the silence of urban landscapes and the search for inner balance. Through their diverse artistic languages, the exhibition reveals a shared sensibility in which emotion extends beyond representation and the visible world becomes a space for reflection.
More than a presentation of individual artists, Depth embodies Bālta Gallery’s curatorial vision: creating meaningful encounters between art, nature, and human experience. Inviting viewers to slow down and look more deeply, the exhibition offers a quiet meditation on beauty, fragility, and the enduring relationship between humanity and its environment.
We are delighted to present them as our exhibitors at ART WORLD MARBELLA 2026.
