“Art runs through my genes”
– Aza Fine Arts Gallery (Nasr Azarmehr)
Born in Isfahan, Iran, in 1977, Nasr Azarmehr grew up surrounded by art, inheriting a rich creative legacy from his father, mother, and grandfather, all accomplished artists. This lifelong immersion led him to study Art History at the University of Tehran, where he later taught between 2007 and 2011. Alongside his academic career, Azarmehr worked as an art restorer on projects commissioned by Iran’s national museum organisation, developing a profound understanding of historical techniques, materials, and cultural heritage.
Azarmehr’s artistic practice is shaped by this unique combination of scholarship, craftsmanship, and creative expression. His experience in restoring historic works has deepened his appreciation for the enduring power of art, while his contemporary practice reflects a dialogue between tradition and innovation. Drawing upon his cultural roots and extensive knowledge of art history, he creates works that are both intellectually grounded and emotionally resonant.
Today, Azarmehr continues to build on this remarkable artistic lineage, transforming generations of inherited knowledge into a contemporary visual language.
We are delighted to have Aza Fine Arts Gallery at ART WORLD MARBELLA 2026.
