A Passion for Art, A Home for Artists

Founded by gallery owner Astrid Franke and artist Markus Blazaizak, CarpArten Gallery occupies a beautifully transformed 250 sqm hall. Despite its grand size, the space has been carefully designed to feel like a welcoming home for artists, visitors, and collectors. Here, a rich variety of artistic forms are presented, making it a dynamic and intimate environment for creative exploration.

Global Connections, Local Roots

CarpArten Gallery showcases art from all five continents, celebrating creativity from across the globe. In the summer, the gallery partners with Markus Blazaizak, a deaf artist, to present an innovative summer theater project. This collaboration promotes inclusivity, allowing art to transcend language and hearing barriers. Markus’s distinctive vision also made an appearance on the cover of a German short film in China, which will be presented in Berlin in November 2025.
